1. Purpose and responsible party

This privacy policy explains the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing (including collection, processing, and use as well as obtaining consent) of personal data within our online offering and the associated websites, features, and content (hereinafter collectively referred to as the „online offering“ or „website“). This privacy policy applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms, and devices (e.g., desktop or mobile) used to run the online offering.

The term „user“ includes all customers and visitors of our online offering. The terms used, such as „user“, are to be understood as gender-neutral.

2. Basic information about data processing

We process personal data of users only in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations in accordance with the principles of data economy and data avoidance. This means that the data of users are processed only when there is a legal permission, in particular when the data is required for the provision of our contractual services and online services, or is required by law, or when consent is given.

We take organizational, contractual, and technical security measures in accordance with current standards to ensure that the regulations of data protection laws are observed and to protect the data processed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons.

To the extent that content, tools, or other means from other providers (hereinafter collectively referred to as „third-party providers“) are used within the scope of this privacy policy and their stated headquarters are located abroad, it is to be assumed that data will be transferred to the third-party provider’s headquarters. The transfer of data to third-party countries will take place either on the basis of a legal permission, a user’s consent, or specific contractual clauses that guarantee the legally required security of the data.

3. Processing of personal data

In addition to the uses explicitly mentioned in this privacy policy, the personal data will be processed for the following purposes based on legal permissions or consent from the users:
– The provision, execution, maintenance, optimization, and safeguarding of our services, services, and user-related functions;
– Ensuring the provision of effective customer service and technical support.

The access data includes the name of the requested webpage, the file, the date and time of the request, the transferred data volume, a notification of successful retrieval, the browser type and version, the user’s operating system, the referrer URL (the previously visited page), the IP address, and the requesting provider.

We use the log data without assigning it to the user’s person or other profiling purposes in accordance with legal regulations only for statistical analysis for the purpose of operating, ensuring security, and optimizing our online offering. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively verify the log data if there is concrete evidence of a legitimate suspicion of unlawful use.

5. Cookies & Range Measurement

Cookies are information that is transmitted from our web server or third-party web servers to the web browsers of users and stored there for later retrieval. The use of cookies for pseudonymous reach measurement informs users within the framework of this privacy policy.

Viewing this online offer is also possible without cookies. If users do not wish cookies to be stored on their computer, they are asked to disable the corresponding option in the system settings of their browser. 6. Integration of third-party services and content

It is possible that within our online offering, content or services from third-party providers, such as city plans or fonts from other websites, are integrated. The integration of content from third-party providers always requires that the third-party providers know the user’s IP address, as they cannot send the content to the user’s browser without the IP address. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. Furthermore, the providers of the third-party content may set their own cookies and process the user’s data for their own purposes. The processed data can be used to create user usage profiles. We will use this content as data-saving and data-avoiding as possible, and will select reliable third-party providers with regard to data security.

The following overview provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, along with links to their privacy policies, which also contain further information regarding the processing of data and, in some cases, the possibility of objecting (so-called opt-out).

Booking system „easybooking“ (zadego GmbH)

For online inquiries, offers, bookings and, if applicable, online check-in, we use the easybooking web booking engine from the provider zadego GmbH, Anton-Melzer-Straße 10, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria, email: datenschutz@easybooking.eu. Processed data types: Basic data (e.g., name, address), contact data (email, phone), booking/travel data (travel period, number of persons, special requests), possibly data from fellow travelers, communication content, and technical usage data (IP address, browser/device information). When selecting an online payment method, payment data may be forwarded to the respective payment service (e.g., credit card provider/payment service provider).

Purposes and legal bases: Execution of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of a accommodation contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations (e.g., reporting/tax/storage obligations; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) as well as – where necessary – consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), e.g. in the case of optional analysis/marketing cookies in the booking tool.

Role of the participants: We are responsible within the meaning of the GDPR; easybooking (zadego GmbH) processes data as a processor. Processing only takes place in accordance with our instructions.

Recipients: zadego GmbH (contractor) as well as – depending on the selected service – payment service providers and, if applicable, IT/hosting service providers of the provider.

Storage period: We process personal data for the duration of the contract processing and in accordance with statutory retention periods (e.g., tax/commercial law). Request/booking data is then blocked or deleted unless there are legal obligations to the contrary.

Cookies and integration: When using the booking form, technically necessary cookies can be set; optional cookies (e.g., statistics/marketing) are only activated with consent. For technical reasons, the booking tool also collects IP addresses and browser information when it is loaded. Please note the provider's cookie policy regarding this.

Rights of those affected: You have the right to information, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, revocation of granted consent and objection to certain processing activities. 7. Rights of users and deletion of data

Users have the right, upon request, to obtain free information about the personal data that has been stored about them by us.
In addition, users have the right to have inaccurate data corrected, to withdraw consent, to have their personal data blocked and deleted, and the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the event of unlawful data processing.

The data we store will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for its intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any legal retention obligations.

8. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal requirements or to changes in the service and data processing. However, this only applies to data processing declarations. If user consent is required or parts of this privacy policy contain provisions of the contractual relationship with the users, the changes will only be made with the consent of the users. Users are asked to regularly inform themselves about the content of this privacy policy.
